The compacts in this line feature unique details of architecture and art of New York City. The photographs are covered with a durable waterproof resin. The compact measures 2.75” round. It includes a regular, as well as magnifying glass mirror.

The photograph is one I took of The Brooklyn Academy of Music cornice. BAM dates its first performance to 1861. The original BAM on Montague Street burnt to the ground in 1903. The structure we know today was built in 1908. This multi-chambered performing arts center existed two generations before Lincoln Center.
